U.S. Sugar sponsored the annual VPK awards dinner at St. Mary’s Pittenger Center in Stuart, which benefitted the Gertrude Walden Child Care Center of Stuart.  Below is a letter to the editor about the event that ran July 11 in the Stuart News.

The Gertrude Walden Child Care Center of Stuart would like to extend its most sincere and heartfelt appreciation to U.S. Sugar and Robert Coker for their commitment to our school and our community.

Most recently, U.S. Sugar was the venue sponsor for the second consecutive year for our annual VPK Awards Dinner, which was held at St. Mary’s Pittenger Center.

230 people watched our VPK students graduate and continue their educational journey as they will enter kindergarten in the fall.

Additionally, U.S. Sugar has supported our community since 2014 by hosting two Christmas Green Market events and donating fresh produce to our annual Thanksgiving Feed.

This continued generosity and support is greatly appreciated by the educators, administrators, parents and especially by the students of The Gertrude Walden Child Care Center.
