DALLAS (May 1, 2017) – U.S. Sugar’s website has won Honorable Mention in the 2017 Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.
The website (www.ussugar.com) was submitted in the Corporate Website category, which is one of the most competitive. Overall, the awards received more than 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and other countries.
U.S. Sugar redesigned its website in early 2016 with new content and dynamic images to highlight what they do and communicate who they are. The site contains information about U.S. Sugar’s sugarcane and citrus operations, its history and leadership, and its commitment to the environment and technology. It also includes links to U.S. Sugar’s news releases and monthly newsletter, The Scoop.
Hermes Creative Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (www.amcpros.com). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital media production and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and awards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
